A Whole New Mind

I'm reading Daniel Pink's "A Whole New Mind" from this morning. I hate person who emphasizes his idea with oversimplifying or misleading views of the science, so I had been half in doubt on this book. (I may be, in Pink's term, an L-Directed man).

But Pink is far more creditable writer than I imagined. Although I've just read chapter 1, his polished sentences gave me a lot of intellectual excitements. He says on a footnote that

It's a book that uses neuroscience to create a metaphor. But even (perhaps especially) in the realm of metaphor, it's important to be true to the science.

I like this attitude.
