Hatsu-yume

Japanese believes that the dream seen on Janualy 2 tells the feature of rest of the year. Such a dream is called Hatsu-yume. 'Hatsu' means 'the first' and 'yume' means the dream. There are some superstition about Hatsu-yume, like that the Mt.Fuji is the most lucky Hatsu-yume, and so on. What's more, the third preferable Hatsu-yume is the dream of the eggplant. I don't know why the eggplant is so auspicious.

This year I dreamed a strange Hatsu-yume. In the dream, I've been asking anxiously to an U.S. senate for seeking my baggage. What's the hell does this dream mean?
