African Festa 2007
We went for a ride to Hibiya Park in which the African Festa 2007 was
held.
Embassies of several African nations sold there local dishes and folk pieces. In comparison with the Thai Festival held the other day, it was less crowded and filled with more easygoing mood.
What was my disappointing was the fervor of enlightening activists. It's a festival. So I was hoping to enjoy their rich cultures and customs rather than having sympathy or expressing awareness of the recent few decades problems in the continent. I think there are awesome diverse cultures all around the Africa we might have been entertained.
