Local Fete

It's a holiday season in japan. This morning I joined an anual local festival "Kawa-no-te Matsuri". There held some events which I felt less significance. It's totally so moderate. And that's what I'm looking for every year.

5-HTP

Sometimes there seem to be nothing to write hear. I did, of course, a lot of jobs and works, those of which were not trifle matters. And I had some personal issues too. However, I can't take it in the dialy. It must be a kind of melancholy, so I tried to order a bottle of 5-HTP capsules.

No more mess

I don't have to need to hesitate in the current team. I think it's preferable to a hostile relationship. I mean, I wish no one outside the team triggered the fruitless mess.

Drunk

I drunk after all this time. I'm not a hard drinker any more.

Abnormal noise

My Debian box rattles its HDD for these weeks. It smells some trouble...

Pettersson Violin Concerto No.2

For some reason, Allan Pettersson becomes popular among classical music lovers in japan lately. I also bought some CDs of Pettersson last Sunday. Now I'm listening close to his Violin Concerto No.2 with pleasure. It's not so painful than I heard of. Instead, it turns out being filled with a variety of idea and (sweet) melody.

Beyond the summit

I finished reading Todd Skinner's "Beyound the Summit", and was astonished by his words. There are several 'mountains' I intend to start climbimg someday. Moreover, there are the other mountains I've already started climbing but never reached their summits yet. I must be at the '90%' of these rocks, where the most discouraging point of the climbing. His book seems to encourage me taking a next step toward the summit (of my life).

Attract

"Attracted to somthing(someone)" is an emotion which differs from person to person. It also depends on what the subject is. Sometimes people are attracted to something being familiar with. And the things everyone is familiar with would have been badly affected by the surroundings such as TV or magazine. I mean, I want to decide my favorites by myself.

Ramen

I ate a bowl of ramen tonight. It was strictly a "tuke-men", that is, dunking noodle into strong soup. It was good enough but a little bit tame. I'm expecting such a meal something unpredictable suprise. However, I could spend a pleasant time and it's the most important factor when it comes to a diner with friend.

Stimulation

I enjoyed a meaningful meeting today. It was exciting to discuss with a talented person. It was, however, an one-way intellectual stimulation for me rather than a discussion. I have certainly just been there.

Sprained

I sprained an ancle this morning on the way to the office when I ran down the last step of the stair in the station. At the time I regarded it's not such a big injury. But the ancle has been swelled up by the afternoon. I also had been hurt right thumb on sunday. What a bad week...

Football game

I went to attend a football game of the team of my birth city. Our team losted the game, but the game was not so a letdown for me because they seemed to fight up against the defending champion. I'm sure they get the next game.

There's no time being disappointed

I heard so disappointed news yesterday. Rationally, I've been disappointed for very long, it suddenly became more dicisive yesterday. I must take prompt action as quickly as possible.

Rain

It's rainy these days. I'm hard up for drying laundry.

I can chew, but..

The implant tooth was fixed permanently on my gum today. Though I recognize it will not break away easily, I'm still afraid of biting foods with the tooth. Soon I will get used to it.

Ram Thai, a thai food restaurant near the Nippori st.

Yesterday is always a busy day in a diary because it is written at the next day as an excuse for skipping entry.

Anyway, I found a good Thai food restaurant near the Nippori station yesterday. The name is 'Ram Thai'. Ram Thai serves back street stall's food, that is, it's not a swank ethnic restaurant. And I've been looking for such a folksy place. I will frequently go to eat there.

I ate Thai-veggie stir-fry on rice (with a sunny-side up!). It's so hot.

Beer

I drunk first time in this seven months. There's no more blissful moment than a party with congenial members of the team after a project.

Implant

Finally I got a tooth, though it is just jointed temporarily.

Reading in a bathroom

I want to try reading books in a bathroom. How to do that? Does it force me to keep raising my hands in order to prevent books from wet?

4/03/2007

Vanished

Sometimes an object vanishes all at once. Last weekend, my wife's contact lens has disappeared with its case. We looked all over the house but we can't find it. A similar phenomenon has happend before. A mixer blade has gone at the time. There must be pixies in this house.

My Problem

It's often overcast in the season for sakura. So is today. Such an overcast day is called Hana-Gumori(花曇), which means 'Blossom-Cloudy'. A sunny spring day is well, but Hana-Gumori is well and good too.

By the way, I had hair cut this morning.

Angels in America

I went to see a play, "Angels In America". It was second time I saw the play. I'm very fan of the scenario. It was so long, started at 13:30 and closed at 22:30, that my hip hurt, but there's no boring scene. Amazing.
